A discussion of "Howard Hill and the Longbow" By John D. Lee John D. Lee is a bowyer who crafted the last three of Howard Hill's longbows before Howard died in 1975. John was not only a bow builder for Howard but was also a personal friend. John has an extensive collection of Howard Hill bows and other related items and accessories that he had on display at the Traditional Bowhunters Expo in Kalamazoo, Michigan in January of 2003 when he presented this seminar on Howard Hill Longbows, (starts at 3:31 minutes) featured on this DVD, along with a lot of history of Howard's development and construction of the bow he loved. His shooting methods and other valuable information as well as a video introduction by Ron LaClair, also his poem "Archery's Legend" starts at 1:05:03 minutes and a short video of Howards shooting skills at the close of this video.
