The athletes require a heightened amount of motor unit recruitment to maintain postural integrity through the exercise. This is an advanced exercise and should not be used with beginners. Simply hang the kettle bells (or weight plates) from strength bands to the outside collars of the barbell and have a partner swing the external load to increase difficulty. This exercise can be progressed further by adding multiple bands and weights to each side of the barbell.
