😇Migraine is a sort of head ache which results from stress, tension, more work, excitement, bright light, loud noise, strong perfumes, smoking and alcohol etc. Deficiency of mineral and vitamins in the food can also be the cause of migraine. It is mainly in half side of head and gives feeling of hammer strikes. Some people may feel vomiting and giddiness. This varies from person to person. When our blood vessels shrink, the flow of blood slows down which results into head ache. Water treatment is an effective way to get rid of migraine. People getting continuous migraine attacks should be more careful and should have more of water regularly. Ladies should have atleast 8 glasses of water and men should have atleast 10 glasses of water each day. Lemon and honey mixed in water can be had. Apple cider vinegar mixed with honey can also be very helpful in such pain. Washing head with cold water and feet with warm water also helps. You can use ice packs on forehead for few minutes if you don't want to wash your head with cold water. If you don't have ice pack at home, use ice cubes wrapped in a handkerchief. Herbal teas are also very effective in treatment of migraine. Drink ginger tea immediately when you get symptoms of migraine, or you can chew ginger, this will improve your digestion and you can save yourself from vomiting. You can repeat this 3 to 4 times in a day. You can also have mint tea with honey. Even smelling this tea relaxes the nerves and helps curing head ache. Grind a little of garlic and add few drops of water and apply on your forehead to get relief from migraine. One cup of coffee may also help you but drinking more of caffeine may increase the head ache. Likewise holy basil mixed with water if applied on forehead gives relief also. Even the paste of ajwain and water can also be applied on forehead. You can also chew black pepper mixed with honey or sugar. If migraine is due to cold then paste of hing and water can also be applied on forehead. Massage on head may also be helpful. Analyse your diet whenever you have an attack of migraine to get an idea what triggers your migraine. the products that contain sulphite like milk, cheese, chocolate, dry fruits etc. also increases the pain. Pickles, chutneys and acidic fruits can also cause migraine. the eatables that have yeast in them like pizza base, biscuits and kurkure etc. can disturb some people. most of the packaged foods have sodium mono glutamet which worsen the condition of migraine patient. the migraine patients should have good quality fat that contains omega 3 fatty acids and mono unsaturated fat. Non vegetarian can have tuna and salmon fish. vegetarian can have this fat from nuts like almonds, walnuts and peanuts. olive oil and flax seeds are also good source of this fat. Whole grains like oats, dalia, brown rice, green leafy vegetables, fruits and curd should be the part of regular diet. sleep for at least 7-8 hours. take care of your posture. do not listen your phone by keeping mobile phone in between your head and neck for a long time.
