December 27, 2025, Central Alps For training ahead of my New Year's hike to Mount Yari, I chose to hike the Central Alps from Senjojiki Station to Mount Utsugi. The hike began with a steep, no-trace climb to Gokurakudaira. Once I reached the ridge, a spectacular view and a blast of wind awaited me.
