Part I: Exploring the Judean Desert: The Incredible St. George Monastery | Yohanna Tal

#JudeanDesert#StGeorgeMonastery#WadiQelt Shalom everyone, We explore the Judean Desert and on our way we discussed some Biblical facts. Most of you who truly knows me already knew that I really like to deal with Bible related discussion, it helps me grow and know more about my Messiah. So you will find a lot of discussion on my vlog during this trip. 😇😁 The Judean Desert, or the Judean Wilderness as it is has been known throughout history, is one of the world’s smallest, yet most unique desert regions. Passed through by most people as they descend from Jerusalem at around 800 meters above sea level, the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth at 400 meters below sea level, it is a fascinating region to stop and explore, full of fun outdoor activities, as well as a rich history and fascinating geography and geology. The Judean Desert is a rock desert characterized by a large number of wadis cutting through the rock. For thousands of years people have sought solitude in the desert; a place of peace and contemplation. So it is understandable why throughout history religious sects have chosen to build their retreats and monasteries in remote desert or mountainous regions. St. George’s Monastery is the perfect example. Hope you enjoy watching! ♥️ With love from Zion, 🇮🇱 Yohanna. Special thanks to: Tita Rebecca ♥️ Taleb for being such an exceptional guide and showing us the Judean desert and Jericho in different perspective. ✨🌟 CONNECT WITH ME: Email: [email protected] Facebook:   / setapartwomanyohanna   Instagram:   / yohannatal   Twitter:   / yohannatal
