Welcome to Sofitel Kia Ora Moorea Beach Resort and one of the best hotels on Moreea Island! WE REALLY ENJOYED THE TIME SPENT HERE! Sofitel Kia Ora Moorea sits on the edge of the crystal clear lagoon framed by jagged green mountains. Accessible via a short ferry ride from Papeete, positioned on the eastern side of Moorea, makes it the most convenient and one of the best off-Tahiti island experiences. The resort enjoys a secluded location on the picturesque white sand beach of Temae, the longest of the island, within a protected marine area. Featuring 109 bungalows including 38 overwater bungalows (Luxury Overwater Horizon, Luxury Overwater, Superior Overwater Horizon, Superior Overwater), 11 beach bungalows (Luxury Bungalow, Beach Front), 9 lagoon view bungalows (Superior Bungalow Ocean View), 50 garden bungalows (Luxury Bungalow with Garden View & Luxury Bungalow Garden with Beach View), and 1 Luxury Villa. During our staying, we had 2 different types of rooms : one Luxury Garden Bungalow and the other Luxury Beach Bungalow. Both have the same interior design. The only thing that is different is the view. One on the garden and the oher directly to the beach. The service, the facilities and the overall experience were great! The restaurants are : Breakfast is served daily at Pure restaurant The same restaurant Pure serves at night a gourmet meal for the supper with nice view on Papetee city and Tahiti Island; K Gourmet – offers the world class cuisine of french cuisine in an intimate and romantic setting. VUE Bar - Set between the infinity pool and Pure restaurant, Vue bar enjoys sweeping panoramic views of Moorea’s lagoon and the jagged mountains of neighbouring Tahiti. Beach Bar - Located on the longest white sand beach of the island facing a unique view on the protected lagoon and the island of Tahiti, the Beach Bar offers cocktails and snacks.
