Today we’re diving into one of the most realistic micro RC builds we’ve ever featured on the channel — a fully custom 1/24 Ford F-250 Highboy, created by pairing a Mobius hard-body model with Orlandoo Hunter drivetrain components. The result is unbelievably scale, unbelievably functional, and incredibly tiny. In this video, I’ll walk you through how we got here — from the SCX24 boom, to the SCX30 1/24 movement, and how this build bridges the gap between static scale models and fully functional RC crawlers. Our builder, Randy, combined the Mobius 1968–1972 Ford F-250 Highboy body with the Orlandoo MOM-01 drivetrain, Furitek electronics, magnet-mounted panels, and even working leaf springs at a micro scale.
