ABS Light, Check Engine Light, No Horn... This Corolla Has It All
In this video, I have a look at a customer's 2011 Toyota Corolla that rolled into the shop with a laundry list of problems. The check engine light is on with EVAP system codes P043E (EVAP System Leak Detection Reference Orifice High Flow), P043F (EVAP System Leak Detection Reference Orifice Low Flow), P2401 (EVAP Leak Detection Pump Control Circuit Low), P2402 (EVAP Leak Detection Pump Control Circuit High), and P2419 (EVAP System Switching Valve Control Circuit Low). If that wasn't enough, the ABS light is also on with C1201 (Engine Control System Malfunction) and C1422 (Master Cylinder Pressure Sensor Circuit), the horn doesn't work, and the car is overdue for New York State Inspection. Other than that... she's mint! We'll diagnose the EVAP faults (kind of), investigate the ABS warning lights, figure out why the horn quit working, and determine what it'll take to get this Corolla back into inspection-ready condition. As always, we follow the evidence, verify the failure, and fix the problem instead of throwing parts at it. Thanks for watching!
