The SHOCKING State Of Uk Lawns!

My business is all about helping the typical average Uk household to get a nicer Greener lawn. Most years thats never an issue, but this year we've had one of the wettest Winter periods Ive ever known. As a result I am seeing a HUGE amount of MOSS as well as many lawns that have thinned out to almost nothing in some cases. Most of the following lawns are on very sandy fast-draining soil: Timestamps: Intro: 00:00 Lawn 1: 00:29 - Large lawn in full sunshine (disease problems) Lawn 2: 03:12 - Large lawn in partial shade (healthy but mossy) Lawn 3: 06:52 - Big lawns, one in massive tree canopy shade Lawn 4: 09:55 - 2 typical lawns that don't get watered much Lawn 5: 13:32 - Much used family lawn - a typical Uk lawn Lawn 6: 16:20 - Another typical lawn on sandy soil (& FAIRY RING) Lawn 7: 19:40 - Very sandy soil, struggles in the heat each year Lawn 8: 21:06 - A gardeners own lawn (and a great guy) Lawn 9: 22:14 - Heavily used family lawn, used for football Lawn 10: 23:13 - Lovely front lawn (not walked on), but heavily used rear lawn Lawn 11: 24:26 - Large landscaped gardens - some shade and moss from trees Lawn 12: 28:36 - shaded rear lawn with dog wee burns, full sun front lawn Lawn 13: 31:19 - Heavy clay soil (different area now) - disease and mossy Lawn 14: 32:21 - PROOF that good TLC makes a BIG DIFFERENCE! This video is to help you understand what most typical Uk lawns look like right now in early March 2024, after one of the wettest winters ever. Moving forward, once we get warmer weather and more sunshine, things will start to improve, however a number of lawns are going to need to be reseeded, and perhaps have their soil issues looked at in terms of drainage. On this day I visited 23 properties. I have filmed 14 of those properties to give you an idea of what most typical lawns look like.
