PRECIOUS PROMISES - APOSTLE SYDNEY

PRECIOUS PROMISES - APOSTLE SYDNEY (Born of Incorruptible Seed) Text 2 Pet 1:2-4/*4 1 Peter 1:23 Definition of Nature The nature of a seed is the inherent life and characteristics it contains, enabling it to reproduce after its own kind and express the qualities of its source. The nature of a seed is the inherent life, characteristics, and potential contained within it that determine what it will become when planted. Simple Definition A seed carries within itself the life and blueprint of the plant from which it came. Nature/Characteristics of a Seed ~ Contains Life* Although it may appear dormant, a living seed contains the growth potential. Under the right conditions (soil, water, air, and warmth), life is expressed. ~ Reproduces After Its Kind A mango seed produces a mango tree, not an orange tree. A maize seed produces maize, not wheat. The nature of the parent plant is carried in the seed. ~ Contains a Blueprint* The seed already contains the information that determines: the type of plant, its leaves, its fruit, its growth pattern. ~ Requires the Right Environment* Nature is present in the seed, but it must be cultivated to be manifested.
