Speak Up for the Animals With No Fear

In this exclusive interview, we retrace the life of a man who gave everything for the animals, sometimes even to the point of losing himself. Vegan educator Gary Yourofsky has probably convinced more people to become vegan than anyone else in history. After more than 10 years of absence, he is back for the animals. Through the duration and intensity of his educational work, giving more than 2660 conferences around the world over more than 20 years, and through the sheer force of his conviction, convincing up to 50% of entire classes to become vegan after his speeches, Gary Yourofsky stands as the historical pioneer of vegan education. His refusal of compromise, his passion for defending animals, and his ability to move and inspire people have already led hundreds of thousands, and probably millions in the years to come, to become vegan. Many people have criticized Gary for some of his statements, and the goal of this interview is not to validate 100% of everything my guest has ever said throughout his life. I personally defend unconditional respect toward non-vegans, for example, and I can also disagree with some of Gary’s messages at times. The point here is to recognize what is extraordinarily inspiring about Gary Yourofsky. In this interview, Gary speaks about his childhood, his former dreams and how to become a powerful public speaker for the animals, without fear. When some people think that one person cannot change the world, then they should look at Gary. Because the work of one determined man who gave his life for animals can never truly be erased. I believe the best way to honor Gary’s work, and above all to honor the animals, is to respond to his final words at the end of this interview: “Prove me wrong.” Gary showed us a path.
