This film documents the ascent of Lagginhorn – one of the few four-thousanders that can be climbed without a glacier. The summit is reached via the normal route, leading along the west ridge, with a difficulty rating of PD (somewhat difficult). The ascent style is completely independent, without guides, without sleeping in a hut, and with the lifting and carrying of all necessary equipment.
