Repertoire: The BEST and WORST Beethoven Triple Concerto

Considered by many to be Beethoven's dullest major work, the Triple Concerto, once you get to know it, turns out of be a fascinating experiment in concerto form that laid the groundwork for the masterpieces that followed: the Fourth and Fifth Piano Concertos and the Violin Concerto. With that in mind, the piece an be enjoyed and appreciated on its own merits (assuming you get one of the very few great recordings of it).
