This ended up being caused by the thermal fuse that was bad. The clogged vent hose and dirty lint screen vent/housing caused it to overheat and fail. You will need: a Multimeter set on Ohms a 1/4" nut driver and/or drill or other type of wrench to remove the back panel. A small blade screwdriver or other tool to remove the vent hose.
