In this video, I follow Massa's entire journey: from São Paulo and the difficult road to Europe, through a series of titles, his debut with Sauber, the mistakes of a "hothead," and the Ferrari school alongside Schumacher. In 2006, he became Michael's squire, won in Turkey and his home race, Interlagos, and then entered an era where four cars were tied on the grid due to the 2007 spy scandal. The culmination was the 2008 season. Massa was champion for 39 seconds: he won his home race, the stands were already celebrating, but at the final corner, Hamilton overtook Glock on slicks in the rain and took the title by one point. Before that, there were Singapore and Crashgate, Hungary with an engine that died three laps from the finish, and a series of episodes where fate snatched points from him time after time.
