7 years after saying on this channel, 'I should redesign the characters from my High School Twilight Knock-off book,' I finally found the old Word document for it, and it is glorious! For the chicken, I cut strips of chicken breast and dipped them into a blend of egg whites, soy sauce, coconut nectar (maple syrup or honey works just as well), garlic powder, red pepper flakes, and ginger. Then, I dipped that into nutritional yeast and garlic powder (nutritional yeast gives it a sort of cheese flavour. Some people hate it though, so fair warning!) I air-fried the chicken for 10 minutes at 400 until cooked through. Instead of what I did with the apple, take a yellow or orange pepper and cut that up. In a frying pan, put some maple syrup or honey, soy sauce, ginger, red pepper flakes and garlic powder. Let that cook on medium-high heat until it starts to bubble. Toss in the pepper and cook until the pepper gets soft. On your sandwhich bread (I use 'Carbonaut' bread because it is only 160 calories for four slices and still tastes great) place your fried chicken and pepper mix. I also added salsa, but you can add whatever flavour you want as some extra sauce, really! I then cooked it in the press, but you could also just heat it up on the stove or in the air fryer for a few minutes to get everything melding together. Then, eat and enjoy!
