My First XC Race Was Humbling

Everyone I know who's raced the TORCA 500 XC Race says it's a great time. But despite living here for a while now, I've never actually been to it! This year is different though, and it's timing happens to line up perfectly as a trial run for BC Bike Race, with some stiff competition in typical tri-city fashion.
