EL ENTRENAMIENTO en KICKBOXER. Análisis PROFESIONAL

➙ TRAINING: [email protected] ➙ INSTAGRAM:   / alberbarbera   In this video, we analyze the training in the Jean-Claude Van Damme film: Kickboxer. ➙ MY BOOK: https://www.amazon.es/Red-Freak-Fight... ➙ SOME HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE VIDEO Kickboxer was filmed in 1988 in Thailand, Cambodia, and other parts of Southeast Asia. Some of its training scenes have gone down in history, both for the original and unique feel of the setting, which was, in Western eyes, still unknown, as well as for Jean-Claude Van Damme's skills. This is JCVD's second film as a leading man. Some of the training elements we see are typical of Muay Thai. -At the end of the film, Van Damme faces off against his opponent in a legendary scene in which both fighters fight with crystals glued to their hand wraps with resin. -Some of the exercises we see in this film include: running, hitting palm trees or banana trees to strengthen the shin, underwater shadow boxing, punching exercises with mitts attached to sticks, dodging and counterattack exercises, and several types of original kicking exercises. -Van Damme's level of flexibility and strength is magnificent. He's able to split his legs with little difficulty, and, as we see in one of the scenes, he can hold his leg statically higher than the level of his head. -I don't recommend hitting palm trees or banana trees with your shin to strengthen that part of the body. -In the video, I also talk about how tremendously inspiring this film was for me. Although critics attacked her aggressively, she will always hold a special place in my heart. -Jean-Claude Van Damme practiced karate in his youth and participated in several full-contact kickboxing tournaments. He also practiced ballet, which likely helped him move with the grace and harmony he displays on screen. Another discipline in which he was also slightly recognized was bodybuilding. #kickboxing #jeanclaudevandamme #muaythai
