Chief Minister Sri Nara Chandrababu Naidu has officially launched the construction works of this mega project at Sunnapurallapalli in Jammalamadugu constituency. This plant is being developed under the auspices of renowned industrial giant JSW (Jindal South West). The establishment of this green steel plant will bring an industrial revolution to the Rayalaseema region. The plant will provide direct employment to about 2,500 people and indirect employment to another 5,000 people. It is estimated that more investments of up to Rs. 50,000 crores are likely to come in this connection.
