The Living Dead RETURN in 2026!! TWO NEW Return of the Living Dead Projects in the Works!?

There are TWO NEW Return of the Living Dead projects that are currently in development! The first is titled RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD, is written and directed by Steve Wolsh of WithAnO Productions, and is slated for release this November. The second is titled, TRASH'S REVENGE, is written and directed by Linnea Quigley who played Trash in the 1985 classic, THE RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD, and is currently crowdfunding on CineBacker (campaign link below). The film will also feature much of the original cast, including Thom Matthews, Beverly Randolph, and Miguel Nunez. Quigley promises to bring back the late James Karen and Dan Calfa via "the magic of CGI" - a move that I personally find quite controversial. Will either of these new entries be able to capture the sexy, punk rock zombie horror of the original film? Let's break down what we know so far!
