7 14 2026 Rigging Lab Load Forces and Techniques

Welcome back to another Tall Timbers Tree & Shrub Service Super School training video! Super School is our ongoing hands-on training program focused on developing safer, more knowledgeable, and more capable tree-care professionals. This was the final Super School video in our series on load forces and rigging techniques. We brought together the concepts covered throughout the rigging lab and applied them to several advanced rigging systems. In this session, we covered: • Setting up and operating a speed line • Using a controlled speed line for greater control • Building the reeve system, also known as the Norwegian reeve • Finishing the training with double blocking techniques These systems demonstrate how thoughtful rigging configurations can help arborists manage movement, control loads, increase efficiency, and better understand the forces being placed on the tree, equipment, and rigging system. Be sure to: • Subscribe for more professional arborist training • Like the video • Leave your questions or experiences in the comments • Share the video with your crew This video is intended for educational and informational purposes only. Arboricultural rigging should be performed by trained professionals using properly inspected equipment, established communication procedures, and appropriate safety practices. Train Hard. Work Smart. Climb Safe. #SuperSchool #ArboristTraining #TreeRigging #RiggingTechniques #LoadForces #Speedline #NorwegianReeve #DoubleBlocking #Arboriculture #TreeWork #TreeOps
