Analog City Dreams

In this video, like in my previous one, I decided to experiment a bit more with the sound. I mastered the music through a cassette tape process, giving it that nostalgic, slightly imperfect, and authentic analog feel — the kind of sound I grew up with. I spent my early years listening to music on tapes, all the way until around the year 2000, when CDs and later digital files slowly took over. There is something about analog sound that I still deeply love. It feels human, tangible, and real. It’s also a direction I want to explore more in my futuristic vision — blending the past with imagined futures. To me, analog represents freedom. It’s harder to manipulate, harder to “hack,” and in a way, simpler and more honest. The music itself leans toward a subtle cyberpunk mood, but still carries a strong sense of nostalgia — like a memory of a future that never fully arrived.
