Vanessa Noel's Story Is Proof That Women's Heart Attack Symptoms Often Overlooked (!)
It took four months for fashion designer and hotelier Vanessa Noel to convince her doctors that she had heart disease. Heart disease is the leading cause of death among women — and one of the most preventable. According to the American Heart Association, more than 1 in 3 female adults has some form of heart disease. Still, many physicians never talk to women about coronary risk and sometimes don't even recognize the symptoms of a heart disease, mistaking them instead for signs of panic disorder, stress, and even hypochondria. We hope that through Vanessa's story, we can raise awareness about heart disease in women. #heartdisease #heartattack #chestpain - SUBSCRIBE! https://www.youtube.com/realwomenreal...
