I’ve definitely heard snippets before (probably during a dramatic TV montage), but sitting down and properly listening to it from start to finish was an experience. As an Irish girl who somehow missed the Fleetwood Mac phase, this reaction is 100% genuine. Nobody warned me that this song feels like four tracks in one. And that BREAKDOWN?! I gasped. It’s like being dragged into an emotional tornado in slow motion. This is the kind of track that makes you want to stare out the window dramatically or drive fast through the desert.
