Using a Come-along on a "widowmaker", Tree limbs SHREDDED by STORM!
Would you call it a HOME RUN? After a recent storm, I found several broken limbs high in one of our trees — the kind that can fall without warning. Before anything else, those needed to come down. Days like this remind me how quickly things can pile up. Projects fall behind, the garden gets overgrown, and it’s easy to feel like you’re not keeping up with everything that needs to be done. But I’ve learned that getting overwhelmed doesn’t help anything. Sometimes the best thing you can do is write it down, take one step, and handle what’s right in front of you. I also share a special moment with my grandson at the end of this video — one of those reminders that not everything important is measured by how much you get done. This isn’t about finishing everything. It’s about taking the next step. We’re thankful for every blessing that God provides to each and every one of us. If it’s His will and with His help, we hope to create an off-grid homestead where we can enjoy His creation and live in a way that honors Him. Like many of you, we are not perfect and still have a lot to learn. In our imperfection, we are so thankful for the grace and mercy of God! Our prayer is for each person who visits us here at The Lovely Place to walk away knowing that He loves you and has provided you with the opportunity to receive His perfect, amazing grace through the resurrection and power of Jesus Christ our redeemer.
