This train traveled on the former Tohoku Main Line, now the Aoimori Railway/IGR Iwate Galaxy Railway, a route that once saw many sleeper express trains. The 200km journey was conducted in long-seat carriages. This was a travel package sold by Galaxy Railway Tourism, and the price for this particular trip was 17,000 yen.
