757th Transportation Battalion at the Whiskey River Railway

In one of the more unique events at Little Amerricka, two units from the 757th Transportation Battalion made the trip to the park for a brief operating training session. There wasn't enough time to fire up the steam engines, so the two diesels on the railway - GP38 #1996 and Santa Fe-painted SW7 #3416 - headed up the trains this day . This was probably the most glamorous thing the Santa Fe switcher has done since it was built in the 60's. There's also footage of the progress of the Whistle Stop Campground, which is slated to finally open in May.
