It was time to have a look! I have got my hands on a left handed Kofs Sceptre 410 30'' over and under to do some clay shooting with which I think will be a good challenge for myself and also a lot of fun. My plan is to book on and shoot the British 410 Championships later on in the year so I'm going to get practicing straight away. This is a basic test to see how all the 5 chokes (Skeet, 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, & Full) perform with a 3'' magnum 18 gram 7 shot cartridge. I decided to test them at 30 yards which is in my opinion would be a reasonable target for a 410 gauge. The results were very interesting and certainly surprised me in what I thought they would be!
