Lassie - Episode #393 - "Little Dog Lost" - Season 12, Ep.8 - 10/31/1965

Mattie's new puppy "Tug" gets loose and lost in the swamp as she and Lassie and Tug are returning to the ranger station after Mattie had purchased the puppy in town. When Mattie and Lassie finally find the puppy, Tug had fallen through a trap door in an abandoned swamp house and is in danger of becoming the dinner of a nearby alligator. It is up to Lassie to come the rescue to bring Tug back to Mattie safe and sound. NOTE: This is a very sweet, adorable episode featuring Suzanne Cupito who played Mattie in a prior episode in Season 11 - "Lassie and the Swamp Girl". Our trivia for that episode revealed that Suzanne Cupito would later change her name to Morgan Brittany and rise to TV fame in the hit prime time 1980's soap opera "Dallas".
