Desde Tunja hasta Mérida | Poblamiento del nororiente colombo venezolano en el siglo XVI
The exploration that departed from Tunja northward in the 16th century allowed for the mapping of royal roads, the founding of cities, and the definition of territories that today form part of Colombia and Venezuela. In this episode of "In the Times of Noise," historian Germán Mejía Pavony will review the expeditions that set out from Tunja and gave rise to Pamplona, Mérida, San Cristóbal, and Ocaña, and will explain the importance of the Magdalena River and the characteristics of what is now the Catatumbo region. 📅 Thursday, December 11 📻 Bitácora – Javeriana Estéreo 91.9 FM 🔗 Visit our website and subscribe for more episodes.
