Manx TT SuperBike (Sega Saturn)

Manx TT SuperBike is a motorcycle racing game developed jointly by Sega's AM3 and AM4 teams for arcades in 1995, and later ported to the Sega Saturn in 1997. The game is set against the backdrop of the world-famous "Isle of Man TT Race," offering both the "TT Course" based on the real track and the original "Laxey Coast" course created by the developers. The Sega Saturn version adds a "Saturn Mode" in addition to Arcade Mode, allowing players to race multiple courses consecutively or practice freely. It also supports split-screen multiplayer for two players. The game offers diverse control experiences by supporting not only the standard controller but also the analog controller and steering wheel. In terms of graphics, while some elements were scaled down due to the Sega Saturn’s hardware limitations, it still maintains smooth frame rates and stable performance. The sound is provided via CD audio tracks, allowing players to enjoy the soundtrack on a regular CD player. Critics praised the Sega Saturn version of Manx TT SuperBike as a faithful arcade port, highlighting its smooth controls and immersive gameplay. However, the limited number of courses and lack of content drew some criticism. Manx TT SuperBike is remembered as one of the iconic titles representing Sega's golden age of arcade racing games in the mid-1990s, delivering an excellent gaming experience despite the technical limitations of its time. 0:00 Start/Opening 1:46 Round 1 - Laxey Coast 5:20 Round 2 - TT Course 9:31 Round 3 - Laxey Coast (Reverse Mirrored) 13:02 Round 4 - TT Course (Reverse Mirrored) 16:58 Ending 18:49 Staffs Are you interested in retrogames?
