It's very rare for a designer to be given an apartment to design without any input, so the initial concept and rendering often differ greatly from the final product. Sometimes, changes that seem insignificant to the client, but after decorating the walls in warm tones, they often insist on a kitchen color that completely ruins the concept and ruins everything. Therefore, if you're renovating yourself, take wall samples, scraps of wallpaper, laminate, and tiles. When choosing materials or furniture, place them next to each other; these pieces should create a unified picture. Today, I'll show you a tiny studio project that was made stylish and very harmonious! The total area of ​​the studio is just under 30 square meters. The main problem with studios is that they only have one window, so sometimes even finding a single bedroom in such a space is very difficult. In this project, the goal was to create two sleeping areas. So how can this problem be solved in such a small space? Today, many companies manufacture indoor sleeping systems specifically for studios. The choice is yours, depending on the task at hand. Today, I'll show you a solution. A podium with a pull-out bed is suitable for both studios and one-bedroom five-story apartments. This project features two beds, but the podium can also accommodate a sofa, thereby transforming the one-room space into a sitting area and bedroom. The light wall color was chosen deliberately, as I've said many times: it's like a blank slate, preventing you from making mistakes with the furniture and decor colors later. In this case, a deep emerald green was chosen for this room, which pairs beautifully with gold accents. The emerald hue of the furniture is complemented by fresh flowers, primarily succulents. They are perfect for a metropolitan space, unpretentious, requiring little care or frequent watering, but no artificial flowers can replace real flowers in the interior. The tiny kitchen has everything you need: a two-burner cooktop and my favorite compact Hyundai drip coffee machine, which allows you to brew coffee for two at once. In this case, the unified space of the hallway and kitchen benefited the project. The refrigerator fits easily in the end cabinet door. Since the space is tiny, the kitchen and cabinets practically blend into the walls. It's best not to use more than two primary colors in small spaces. Bathroom: The bathroom eliminated the bathtub; not everyone needs one, nor does everyone like one. However, opting for a shower stall created space for a full-size washing machine and made the tiny space comfortable. The bathroom retained the light wall color, but the main accent color was a gray and black palette. This choice was deliberate: Even white can be tiring, and the separate bathroom space creates a contrast with the main room. The toilet is opposite the sink, while the washing machine is positioned in the far corner opposite the shower stall. A door for the washing machine was not included, as it would have been inconvenient in such a tiny space. To ensure the washing machine wouldn't stand out, we chose a black model and mounted it under a single black acrylic countertop. The choice of an electric heated towel rail was also deliberate. It can be placed anywhere without running water through the walls, thereby minimizing the risk of leaks. There was no room for towel hooks on the walls, and once again, eliminating the bathtub helped. Towel hooks like these were placed on the sides of the shower stall.
