Learn to Sing Scales - 2 Effective Singing Exercises for Singing Along All songs, virtually all singing exercises, consist of scales or part of them. I told you about that in the last video. Well, let's get straight to the singing exercises you can use to practice singing scales. If you understand how a scale works, it's much easier to hit the notes and anticipate which note will come next. We'll practice that with these two singing exercises, because when learning to sing, it's helpful to learn to sing scales and to have the major and minor scales in mind. In this video, I'll briefly explain to you again: What is a scale? How can you practice singing a scale? How can you use this to learn to hit the notes? I'll play the C major scale for you on the piano and sing it in relative solmization (do re mi fa so la si do / do re mi fa so la ti do) and absolute solmization (c d e f g a b c).
