I guess the theme I chose was one that would interest Sakura Wars fans and game fans alike. This video was about my opposition, criticism, and questions regarding comments made by Nagoshi in an interview article. There were several issues with Nagoshi-san's comments in the interview, such as "changing the Geki-tei" and his infamous "cheesy" comment, which made Watashimagu very emotional. I thought I had kept it in check, but I'm sure some viewers were offended. In the video, I did say that "New Sakura Wars' poor sales are in no way Nagoshi-san's fault alone," but the content still amounted to publicly vilifying Nagoshi-san personally. I also said things like "They just ruined Sakura Wars for no reason," which is clearly disrespectful to Nagoshi-san. I clearly went too far. I would like to take this opportunity to apologize to Nagoshi-san and everyone who watched the video for these comments. I am very sorry. Although it's not because of this, this video is different from the last one, and I made it with the idea that "there must have been a reason why Nagoshi-san ruined Sakura Wars." After doing some research, I've found that it's certainly understandable that Nagoshi, who had no prior knowledge of Sakura Wars, would decide to "destroy" it. I've considered a few of these points. I feel that the failure of New Sakura Wars was greatly influenced by the failures of Sakura Wars V and Sakura Wars: Because of You. In fact, the failure of Sakura Wars V, despite the use of Hiroi Oji and Akahori Satoru, and the failure of Because of You, despite using the Nintendo DS, the most powerful gaming console at the time, it's no wonder that Sega would lose motivation when two of their most powerful and ambitious titles in a row failed to sell lol. And I believe that the severe damage Sega suffered at this time was a distant cause of their later poor decisions regarding New Sakura Wars.
