The Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police Narcotics Unit successfully thwarted an attempt to smuggle 3.9 kilograms of methamphetamine. Tragically, one of the two suspects arrested was a college student who acted as a courier for a trans-provincial drug ring. If successful, the perpetrators were promised a reward of Rp 20 million for each kilogram of methamphetamine delivered.
