How I used a Neural Network to Solve Packing Problems
I really wanted a cool neural network project to undertake. I was looking specifically at HNNs, but when I realised you can use the weights of a Neural Network to represent the square's position in a packing problem, I was sold on that instead. I still wanted to incorporate some sort of physics into my project as my background is in engineering and I couldn't resist. I implemented my first three laws as a proof of concept and when I got them to work I knew I had a cool video concept on my hands... so here we are. Most music done by the main man, Kevin MacLeod.
