Bulova Abbeville Quartz Quad Chime Mantel Clock (2024)

My original Bulova Abbeville mantel clock from 2002 apparently quit working, or ticking, so to speak. Even though its chimes were still working, there was no way to get it fixed, since the movement itself wore out. So I wanted to try and get something to replace it, so I got this one at Windsor Clock & Watch that looked like the original one, but this one has tubular chimes. This clock has the automatic nighttime silence feature that goes from 10:45 PM to 6 AM. It has the Westminster, Ave Maria, and Bim Bam chimes, but it only does the quarters on the Westminster melody. I've seen clocks with movements that look similar to this one, but those have the 4/4 Ave Maria chime as well as the 4/4 Westminster chime. The red button indicates the current hour while there is a Reset buttons to bring the current hour to 5 AM, which is the hour before its first chime of the day at 6 AM, and the Set button, which advances to the next hour. It isn't as exciting as some of the other clocks in my collection, but I hope you enjoy seeing it regardless.
