Alleged killer of Danielle Van Der Linde denied bail by Kimberley Magistrate's Court

30-year-old, Aldean Wilkinson, has been denied bail in the Kimberley Magistrate's Court. He is accused of killing his 28-year-old pregnant partner, Danielle Van Der Linde, last month. Magistrate Maimane-Booi says in her ruling that gender-based violence cases are on the increase. She says the State has a prima facie case against Wilkinson and it is in the interest of justice, and safety of the accused to keep him behind bars.
