After working as an editor for a motorcycle magazine, she is currently a freelance rider and writer. She specializes in discussing motorcycles from a social and cultural perspective. She owns 10 motorcycles, including a Kawasaki GPz900R and a Ninja H2 with a total mileage exceeding 250,000 km. While she usually travels around town by motorcycle, she also enjoys road racing, having participated in races herself and even served as team manager for the Suzuka 8 Hours endurance race.
