This means that, by definition, it won't even qualify as a summer day – and this is in the middle of July. While it remains almost autumnal in some regions, a new heatwave is already building in the background. Temperatures could rise dramatically again by next weekend. In the southwest and south, even desert-like days with temperatures up to 37 degrees Celsius are becoming a possibility.
