2 DAYS Solo Overnight in Heavy Rainstorm -Camping Polish Army Lavvu Poncho Shelter,Bushcraft in Rain

Staying in an old location to which I gladly return, on a beautiful mountains, in Croatia. I spent the whole day in the rain which made the conditions of my survival difficult. Making a shelter from the Polish Lavvu poncho went smoothly and I enjoyed watching and listening to the rain from it. All the constructions you see in the video I made from natural materials, except the paracord. Given the difficult weather conditions, or rather the inconveniences, the conditions to light a fire were almost impossible. I literally spent about 20 minutes trying to light a fire with a firesteel and without success. In the end, I even tried to reach the desired fire with matches, even by adding resin and paper that I currently had with me. What seemed almost impossible, however, fortunately I did successfully and the fire was finally lit. It was very necessary and very important to me, not only because of the atmosphere and the magical impression, but primarily for the reason to keep warm, as well as to dry clothes that were all wet. Of course, as in the past, the fire was used to heat my food. The rain, which had been falling all night, did not disturb me because my shelter (poncho) did not leak or cause unwanted condensation. This experience taught me many new things and I really, as in my previous experiences, enjoyed all my senses connected to man’s most important habitat, nature.
