My piece for the Capezio Ace Awards 2017! It was an honour to be a finalist in this years line up and beyond humbling to place 1st runner up. Huge congratulations to everyone else who competed, everyone had incredible pieces. A massive thank you to the esteemed panel I am so grateful that you responded to my work in the way you did, I look up to you all so much! Thank you Dance Teacher Summit and Dancer Palooza for a platform like this, it is truly one of a kind! I owe a huge thank you also to Ingrid Michaelson and A Great Big World for creating this song and inspiring me as you did. Lastly and probably most importantly, a thank you not big enough goes to my dancers without which I couldn't have made this what it was. You all brought such personal and vulnerable stories to your partnerships that were so beautiful to witness on stage.
