Steel Dock Control — Heavy Rain & Thunder at Harbor Operations | 10 HOURS

This one started with the rain. I found a recording of heavy rain hitting metal and concrete and built the harbor around it. The thunder sits pretty far back in the mix most of the time, just rolling through every so often, while the wind moves around the cranes and dock structures. I kept wondering what this place would sound like after everybody went home. The floodlights are still on. The ships are tied off. Somewhere out beyond the harbor, the water disappears into the dark. And the rain just keeps coming.
