Vision Festival 22: https://www.artsforart.org/ David Murray Trio: David Murray - tenor saxophone, Carmen Rothwell - bass, Kahil El'Zabar - drums & perscussion Our trio featuring Kahil El’Zabar and Carmen Rothwell is a special project put together for the Vision Festival. Kahil El’Zabar and I have known one another since 1975 when we met on a basketball court in Chicago on my way back to NYC. We have been playing music together ever since. Kahil and I have composed songs, which he leads and I answer vocally, something I rarely do. His infectious enthusiastic spirit always takes my horns to another level.
