The Vetiver Grass - Vetiver Plant - Chrysopogon Zizanioides
Native to India, Vetiver (Chrysopogon zizanioides) is a fast growing perennial grass that is now grown in all tropical and sub-tropical regions of the world. Vetiver is known worldwide for its myriad of uses, of which its original and most well known is the sweet earthy fragrance of its roots, which have served as a natural perfume for centuries.
