Because the event is hosted in the Idaho mountains each year during early summer the conditions can vary drastically and you never know what you're going to get. Last year we experienced some of the hottest temperatures and dust I've ever seen in Idaho. This year Mother Nature had different plans. With rain in the forecast we headed out onto the 110 mile course for Day 1. Conditions were epic in the morning. Perfect dirt, perfect temperatures and cloud cover. As the day went on things changed quickly. The rain set in and the trails continued to become more and more wet. With gloves and goggles soaked we pushed on. Day 2 brought with it even more rain. With a little more preparation we managed to survive the elements and conquer the 210 miles of terrain.
