Nordatlantik VFR-Flug mit Apollo Fox - 06-02 Flug 3-4 Reykjavik - Kulusuk - Reykjavik

Vom 23.07. bis 02.08.2018 bin ich von Oerlinghausen über Wick (Schottland) und Reykjavik (Island) nach Kulusuk (Grönland) mit meinem Ultraleichtflugzeug geflogen. Single engine und single hand über die Nordsee und den Nordatlantik und wieder zurück. Für mich u.a. wichtig: KISS - Keep It Simple Stupid, Einfachheit und preiswert ist Trumpf. Teuer, also mit viel Geld, kann jeder. Mit begrenztem Budget und Material die gleiche Strecke zu schaffen, das ist die zusätzliche Herausforderung. Erfahrungsbericht über diese Reise mit Details bzw. Besonderheiten zum Piloten, des Flugzeugs, des Wetters. Damit andere auch von den Erfahrungen ggf. profitieren können. Bis zum Zeitraum der Reise war ich nach meinen Informationen der einzige Pilot, der bisher mit einem reinen Ultraleichtflugzeug (Luftsportgerät) dieser Konstruktions-Familie (Avid Flyer, Kitfox, Eurofox, Apollo Fox etc.) über den Nordatlantik geflogen ist. Ich weise ausdrücklich darauf hin, daß ich alle Gegenstände, Software, meinen Aufenhhalt und alle sonstigen Kosten selber bezahlt habe und von niemandem gesponsort wurde und werde.
