Maize farming under conservation Agriculture Lugari Kenya He is saying he expects to harvest 45 bags of maize per acre of 90kg each though he Harvested 49bags later He does conservation agriculture/farmimg meaning he doesn't do laborious, expensive and degenerative conventional farming. Conservation farming simply means: 1.He does minimum tillage by doing Ripping using using oxen drawn Magoe Ripper though most farmers use Tractor drawn Ripper. And when weeding he still uses minimum tillage by using a shallow weeder which just scrabs weeds though others use selective herbicides 2.
