Deer Rut - I spent over 15 days in the forest, observing and recording deer during the rut – one of the most spectacular phenomena in Polish wildlife. Every day, I tried to get as close as possible to these majestic animals to better understand the deer – their behavior, hierarchy, and the emotions that accompany them during this unique period. Many people wonder if deer can attack humans during the rut. After these several days in the field, I can confidently say: even though deer are highly energized and full of testosterone, they still avoid humans and keep their distance. It's a fascinating combination of wildness and caution that makes them even more unique.
