Talbot Sunbeam Lotus RWD CRAZY Rally Car 😱 Rosati/Toccaceli (RSM) Tribute at RallyLegend San Marino

The Talbot Sunbeam Lotus of the San Marino crew Stefano Rosati / Sergio Toccaceli gives a great show every year at the Rally Legend. During the last editions, I have gathered a lot of video footage, and it's time to dedicate a tribute clip to them also because they have won the class victory several times. Their car is from 1980 and has group 4 tech specs. Taking a look at the more general history of the model, we recall that it derives from the Chrysler Sunbeam but under the elaboration of the Talbot participated in the world rally championship from 1979 to 1983, winning the constructors' title in 1981 thanks to the pilot's Guy Fréquelin, Stig Blomqvist and Henri Toivonen. Mechanically it's fitted with a naturally aspirated engine developed by Lotus (Type 911) from 2.2-Liter, 4-cylinder 16-valve, which develops 245hp and 256Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. The 5-speed ZF gearbox, rear-wheel drive and a weight of only 1,000kg make it a high-speed and highly spectacular car. La loro auto è del 1980 ed ha specifiche gruppo 4. Dando un'occhiata alla storia più in generale del modello ricordiamo che deriva dalla Chrysler Sunbeam ma sotto l'elaborazione della Talbot partecipò al campionato del mondo rally dal 1979 al 1983 vincendo il titolo costruttori nel 1981 grazie ai piloti Guy Fréquelin, Stig Blomqvist e Henri Toivonen. Maccanicamente monta un motore aspiratosviluppato dalla Lotus (Tipo 911) da 2.2-Litri, 4 cilindri 16 valvole, che sviluppa 245cv e 256Nm di coppia a 6.000 giri/min. Il cambio ZF a 5 rapporti, la trazione posteriore ed un peso di soli 1.000kg la rendono un'auto estremamente veloce ed altamente spettacolare.
